She had lost over 100 pounds.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Something she shared completely shifted my focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She talked about doing everything \u201cright\u201d\u2014<strong>eating clean, training hard<\/strong>\u2014and still feeling stuck until she realized the real work was <strong>healing inflammation<\/strong> and helping her body feel safe again so it would finally release the weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I started paying attention, I noticed a trend among many women over 50 on Instagram: they were managing <strong>cortisol<\/strong> by training <strong>smarter, not harder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s when I stopped telling myself I was \u201ctrying\u201d to lose weight and decided instead to <strong>heal inflammation first<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That single shift changed everything. The scale started to respond, and I lost <strong>3 pounds in two weeks<\/strong>.
