Countertop Worthy Beauty Favs
I’m allways on the lookout for counter worthy products that are as pretty as they are effective. I don’t know about you, but regardless of how much space I have or how organized I am, I never have enough room for all of my beauty products. To make it worse, since I spent a small fortune on some of them, I have a harder time throwing unfinished products away than old jeans that “might fit again someday.” These are some of my current favorites.
The fragrance industry has its bottle design down to a science for the ultimate visual appeal that tickles your visual senses almost as much as it entices your nose. The Juicy Couture is one of my all time favorites with a hint of berries, caramel and vanilla with a long wear time, while still being gentle in terms of intensity.
The Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil bottle is so charming and feminine. I get a little thrill just looking at the ombre, pink sparkles. I am not a big fan of things that are typically rose scented, but I LOVE the subtle rose scent and it leaves my skin soft, smooth and hydrated. I like to use this with my Rose Quartz Gua Sha in the morning to give me that radiant, glowing skin. Be sure and use it gently and watch as it reduces puffiness. “Rose quartz is said to give off vibrations that promote love, happiness and emotional health.”
We don’t want to leave out the skin on the rest of the body! After spending most of an afternoon in Sephora trying to find something to perk up the thin, crepey skin on my hands, was pleasantly surprised by the results of this JLO Beauty body serum. It is light with a subtle not unpleasant scent. It comes with a high achieving combination of ingredients such as Japanese rice sake, olive oil complex, niacinamide and squalane. It is said to work work on all skin types to address fine lines, dullness and loss of firmness and elasticity. Although it did not make my skin look like the latin beauty, I am a fan.
